1974 (Lyrics and just clap I guess..)

in 1974 I killed a man - it was an accident for sure
in 1974 I killed a man - bout time i bring it to the floor
in 1974 I killed a man - he never asked me for my name
in 1974 I killed a man - I guess I’m the only one to blame
if i happened to walk on water, would it then be ok
if i happened to be your father, could I then walk away
in 1974 I killed a man - around the corner from my home
in 1974 I killed a man - he wasn’t asking for it all
if i happened to walk on water, would it then be ok
if i happened to be your father, could I then walk away
in 1974 I killed a man - I just left him there to bleed
in 1974 I killed a man - and now you got me on my knees
if i happened to walk on water, would it then be ok
if i happened to be your father, could I then walk away
In 1974 I killed a man - and now you all know my lie
In 1974 I killed a man - and now it’s my time to die

Foot Note
This song basically started with the main line accompanied by a consistent beat and that's about it, thought it could be a club song lol. I sent it over to the producer half joking about it being a song to work on and he was intrigued. When we started to record I brought a bunch of pots, pans and such to the studio which you can hear made it in. Also just in case, I was born in 1978, it's more of a metaphor..
